The Crusader Fund
The Crusader Fund for CMH, formerly known as the Annual Fund, is a means for benefactors to convey their trust and gratitude into the resources necessary for CMH students to flourish. Charitable gifts to the Crusader Fund make it possible to keep average tuition at just 73% of the actual cost of school operations, and helps families afford exemplary Catholic education at a critical time in their student’s life. The remaining funds required to balance the CMH budget are raised through special events, endowment earnings and supporting organizations.
Despite the uncertain economy, our benefactors are confident that an investment in CMH will yield both short and long-term dividends. Four hundred donors have contributed just over $375,000 since July 1, outpacing the same period last year, and bringing within reach our Crusader Fund goal of $500,000 by June 30, 2009.
Please join fellow alumni, alumni parents and current parents whose gifts this year have already provided critical financial resources. Gifts of every size make an impact, and in order to be credited to the 2008-2009 Crusader Fund must be received by June 30, 2009. Now it’s easy to make contributions online. Parents and students describe how your gifts to the Crusader Fund help CMH prepare young people who are happy, healthy, and holy!
“What we appreciate most about CMH is its focus on Catholic values, which consistently permeates all aspects of the school -- academics, extracurriculars, social life. From the day we enrolled our daughters we have been impressed with the collective effort to not only educate, but to include the kids in all aspects of CMH life. With eight daughters and the rising cost of Catholic education, we really needed to find a school that was Catholic on the inside and not just in name. We are so grateful for all those who make this possible by supporting CMH!” Molly Berens, CMH Parent and Crusader Fund Champion
I am challenged spiritually and academically at CMH but never overwhelmed because of the faculty’s commitment to my success. They willingly offer extra time so I can achieve it. . I’ve found that the variety of clubs at CMH suit students with all kinds of personalities and interests. When I imagine the future, I look forward to being like lots of CMH alumni who have applied what they learned at CMH to make a difference at college or at work. Maggie Berens CMH ‘10
