Learning Resource

The Learning Resource program at Catholic Memorial High School is a direct extension of the school's mission which says, in part,  At Catholic Memorial High School we provide the highest quality education, in a Catholic culture of faith, service, and personal responsibility, for students from various backgrounds and with diverse skills.  In order to meet the needs of all learners, a Learning Resource program began in the 2008-2009 school year. The Learning Resource teacher, Ms. Kara Scala, seeks to provide students and teachers with strategies and accommodations to serve students as learners. Students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are served in this program as well as other students with demonstrated needs. Ms. Scala is a certified Learning Disabilities teacher, with further training in the area of dyslexia.
