CMH community.
Annual Retreats
Freshman - A day long retreat focusing on our school motto, Charity in
All Things, and how it is lived out in our community. The senior Peer
Mentors will be serving as role models and small group leaders.
Sophomore - An overnight retreat centered on different types of relationships
and their importance in our lives. Juniors are invited to be small
group leaders.
Junior - Most juniors are preparing for Confirmation and will attend a retreat
through their home parish in conjunction with that program. The
junior class is being invited to plan and run a new optional junior retreat.
Senior Retreat - A three day retreat held at Perlstein Retreat Center and is
the culmination of the students four years at Catholic Memorial. The retreat
focuses on their sense of self, their relationships with others, and
their commitment to living their faith.
Transportation
Busing is available for students living in the Waukesha,
New Berlin and Elmbrook School Districts. Busing
and/or carpool arrangements can be arranged for those
living outside of the above listed school districts.
Dress Code
Students at CMH are expected
to dress in a manner that
indicates their understanding of
the difference between clothing
that is appropriate for a
Catholic school and that
considered suitable for
recreational settings. Our dress
code centers around the belief
that students should always
dress within the parameters of
Christian modesty, self-respect,
neatness and safety.
Extracurricular/Service
88% of students participate in at least one extracurricular activity. More than 95% of students participate in community service.
Daily Schedules
Listed times are beginning of periods. The day begins with a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and birthdays. Announcements are read at the beginning of 3rd period and at the end of the day. The day ends with a prayer.
Daily schedules are run on an A-day/B-day schedule. An A-day runs periods 1-8 and a B-day runs as periods
8-1. The days are simply flip-flopped. All school Masses are usually held once a month. In-Services are
usually the second Wednesday of each month.
